The Heart Behind Denori
Welcome to Denori Designs! I’m Courtney, the founder and principal designer of our boutique design firm that was born from legacy. Long before it was a design studio, it was a way of seeing the world through craftsmanship, care, and the quiet beauty of what’s made by hand.
My father was a builder, the kind who could walk through a collapsing frame and already see the finished home standing tall. My mother, a seamstress, stitched life into fabric, creating warmth where there was only structure. Together, they bought a crumbling 1912 dairy farm and, piece by piece, brought it back to life, restoring the farmhouse and building two additional coach houses so our family could live close, connected, and surrounded by something they built with their own hands.
Ten years ago, I lost them both, but their spirit is in everything I create. Denori, a blend of their names, Dennis and Lori, is more than a company; it’s a love letter to the legacy they left behind. It’s the honor of my life to continue their work, to take what they taught me about vision, integrity, and soul, and translate it into the language of hospitality design.
Every project we take on carries that same devotion to story and substance. We approach design the way they approached building, with intention, with heart, and with the belief that beauty is not just seen, but felt. That belief shapes everything we do, from how we listen to our clients to how we layer narrative, functionality, and financial performance into every space. Because when a design is rooted in meaning, it connects, performs, and endures.
Denori Designs exists to carry that story forward, creating spaces that invite people to gather, to rest, to remember. Spaces built not just for this season, but for legacy. We create spaces made for gathering, living, and cherishing.

Courtney leads Denori Designs with a belief that hospitality design should be as strategic as it is soulful. A seasoned real estate investor and designer, she merges creative vision with data-driven strategy to craft spaces that inspire guests and perform for owners. With years of experience building high-performing properties nationwide, she approaches every project through the dual lens of story and ROI, designing spaces that feel meaningful, function seamlessly, and deliver measurable returns.
Olivia DuLong, Lead Designer
Olivia brings a deep passion for craftsmanship and a sharp understanding of how design impacts value. With experience spanning historic renovations, new construction, and full-service hospitality design, she creates spaces that blend timeless character with modern performance. Her work is defined by thoughtful layouts, layered materials, and a belief that beauty and profitability should always coexist.
