Stag Run Retreat is a woodland escape in the heart of the Poconos, transformed from an underperforming short-term rental into a sought-after destination that celebrates the beauty and spirit of mountain living. When the owners acquired the property, we saw an opportunity to create something far beyond a traditional cabin getaway. Our vision was to develop a distinctive, experience-driven retreat that blended cozy mountain charm with elevated amenities, thoughtfully designed to attract families, groups, and travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation throughout the seasons.

Denori Designs brought this vision to life through a warm, nature-inspired aesthetic, layered textures, and thoughtfully curated spaces that invite guests to connect, unwind, and stay awhile. We strategically introduced standout experiences, including a dedicated wellness room, a moody speakeasy lounge, an arcade game room, and an elevated coffee bar, complemented by outdoor amenities like a hot tub and fire pit. Every detail was intentionally designed to create memorable moments while strengthening the property’s competitive positioning and revenue potential. The result was a highly sought-after mountain retreat that has become a local example of exceptional short-term rental design, even hosting educational events for area STR real estate professionals to demonstrate the power of intentional, experience-driven hospitality design.
